Terms

These terms are the agreement between you and WorkHeadshot for https://workheadshot.com, including the studio, the plans, and the guides. Buying a plan or making a headshot means you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the studio.

WorkHeadshot makes a professional headshot from a photo you upload. You pick a look, a light, and clothes, and you can add a short note. The result is an edit of your photo. It is meant to still look like you. It is not a new identity, and it is not a photograph taken by a photographer in a studio.

Prices are in US dollars. Tax, if any, is calculated at checkout.

• One photo is $2.99, paid once, for 1 headshot. It does not renew.
• Weekly is $4.99 per week, for 7 headshots each week.
• Monthly is $9.99 per month, for 15 headshots each month.

A plan is required before a headshot is made. One run makes up to 4 headshots, and never more than the balance you have left.

Dodo Payments is the seller of record for checkout, tax, and invoices. Card details are entered on their page. WorkHeadshot does not store your card number.

Your balance stays on the browser that paid, unless you sign in. Signing in attaches the balance to your email so you can open it in another browser.

Weekly and monthly plans renew until you cancel them. Cancel from the receipt email. Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not delete headshots already made. Headshots already added to your balance stay there until you use them.

If you are a consumer in the EEA, the UK, or another place that gives a cooling-off right, you can withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days, except where the law says that right has ended. For digital content, the right can end once we have started making the headshot, if you asked us to start during the cooling-off period and acknowledged that you lose the right when we do.

To withdraw, write to privacy@workheadshot.com, or use the receipt from Dodo Payments. Nothing in these terms removes a right that the law does not let you waive.

If a headshot fails to generate, the unused credit for that attempt is returned to your balance. That is a credit back to the account, not a cash refund by itself.

Use only a photo you have the right to edit. Do not upload a photo of someone else without their permission. Do not ask the studio to impersonate another person. Do not upload a photo of a child for this service.

You keep your rights in the photo. You give WorkHeadshot permission to process it only to make the headshot you asked for, to show that headshot back to you, and to keep it on your account so you can download it. We do not sell that permission, and we do not use your photo in our advertising.

You may use the finished headshot for your own work, including LinkedIn, a company page, a resume, and client-facing material.

Do not misuse the studio. That includes trying to break the service, going around plan limits, uploading illegal content, or using a result to deceive someone about who is in the photo.

Portraits in the header are examples of the kind of result the studio makes. Short notices about a person in another country are examples of how a headshot can be used. They are not a live feed of other customers, and they are not reviews.

Results depend on the source photo, the light, and the look you pick. We do not promise that a headshot will produce a job, a sale, or any particular response. The guides are general information about portraits. They are not professional, legal, or hiring advice.

We are responsible where the law says we must be, including for fraud and for injury caused by negligence, and for any duty that cannot legally be limited. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live.

If we change these terms, we update the date on this page. For a subscription, a material change applies from the next renewal after we post it. If you do not agree with that change, cancel before the renewal.
